Ledford Construction and Development is a residential building company that has been creating homes in Joplin for nearly 50 years. It's now a 4th generation business, with James and Lance Ledford (who are brothers), at the helm of the business. They learned about the construction industry from their father and grandfather, both of whom once led Ledford Construction themselves. The family business has a long history of both residential and commercial building projects in Joplin.

While Ledford Construction has focused on the Joplin area, the company has grown the past several years, and they now serve both Webb City and Carl Junction. Ledford Construction is primarily a systems builder, though they sometimes partner with semi-custom and custom homes.

Ledford Construction builds to suit, and they strive to work side-by-side with each of their customers. They strive to build excellent homes, within the budgets of their clients, while refusing to compromise on building standards.
